A lazy day rafting down the river sounds pretty harmless, right? Uh huh. Throw in some intoxication. Throw in a leaking raft. And, what the heck, let’s make it hail, complete with lighting strikes. The only thing missing is hypothermia … no, wait, got that, too.

Met a friend of a friend for a first date at a local sports bar. We had a good time and were going to go to my place to watch a movie. On the way home he gets pulled over for following too closely, they then decide to do a breathalizer and he blew a .08, and was arrested for DUI. I go home and wait to hear from him, calls me an hour later to come get him and on the way a deer ran in front of my car and essentially totaled it. I barely roll my car into the police station. So the police need tot ake him to an ATM to get cash and then they would release him, and I am asked to follow him. I do and once we get to the bank, the police officer realizes it was my car that he was following and asks to do a breathalizer. I blew a .03, he was not comfortable letting me drive home, and asked us to sleep in the car and at 6am he would return to the parking lot with my keys!!!! We protested and he eventually drove us back to my house. Worst date ever!
